SILLY SWAPS (POTATO HEAD CONCEPT)
While McFarlane was working with Nickelodeon, Nick expressed interest in a collectable vinyl project for Spongebob Squarepants. The concept I created to show a ‘McFarlane’ style take on Spongebob was to focus on the ‘gross-out’ art from the show with interchangeable parts. This was also when the Spongebob Spuarepants 2 movie was announced. Knowing in the film, Spongebob and Patrick would be playing superheroes, I created a concept for that was well.
